Make plans to attend the closing night of Rhythm on the Rails at Discovery Park of America as local singer-songwriter Phillip Coleman performs with his band on stage near the Train Depot as the sun sets behind Discovery Center on a pleasant summer evening. Gates open at 5 p.m. and it is free for members and only $5 for nonmembers. Coffey and Carithers, a UT Martin band, performs at 6 p.m. and then Phillip and his band takes the stage at 7:45 p.m. Bring your bag chairs to set up close to the stage for a great evening of live entertainment.
Rhythm on the Rails is a family-friendly event where guests can fish, walk around the lake, enjoy live music and grab some dinner from the Sabin’s Cafe smoker. We have two cash bars with adult beverages and soft drinks available for purchase. On this evening, the 1916 Ford Model-T will be on display for guests see. All the proceeds from the Rhythm on the Rails summer concert series have gone to the refurbishment of this vehicle.
We hope to see you at the closing night Rhythm on the Rails. Thank you for your continued support of local artists and Discovery Park of America. Your support helps us fulfill our mission – to inspire children and adults to see beyond.
