Union City, Tenn.–The Obion County Schools board of education has called a special meeting for 7 a.m. Thursday, June 27, to move forward in its search for a new Director of Schools.
The board conducted interviews on Monday and Tuesday night of this week with the four finalists for the position. They are: Obion Co. Special Education Director Dr. Greg Barclay; McKenzie High School Principal Tim Watkins; Millington Central High Principal Dr. Donald Durley; and Dr. Gary Gibson, Superintendent for Clay County, North Carolina, Schools.
At Thursday’s meeting, the board is expected to further narrow down the finalist selection. The meeting is at the board office and open to the public.
