Joint Investigation By Area Agencies & Feds Results In Three Drug Arrests

Murray, Ky.–A joint investigation by local, area and federal law enforcement agencies has lead to arrest of three Calloway County men and the seizure of illegal drugs.
The agencies involved in this case are the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and the US Drug Enforcement Agency
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant with information that it received from McCracken County’s Drug Unit. The search warrant was for the Cory O’Neill residence located at 680 Peeler Road in Dexter.

Cory O’Neill was located and arrested on the property. Deputies recovered approximately 3.8 ounces of methamphetamine from the residence.
While Deputies were on scene, Jaden Murphy, age 41, drove up and was in possession of methamphetamine.
Arrested:
Corey O’Neill, age 33, was arrested for trafficking in meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jaden Murphy, age 41, was charged with possession of meth.
The investigation during the O’Neill search warrant lead to a second search warrant being obtained for the residence of Donnie Ray Garlic, age 48, at 1203 Melrose Drive in Murray.
Deputies executed that search warrant and 3.5 grams of methamphetamine were found. Also found was drug paraphernalia and a firearm.
Garlic was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
