Kenton, Tenn.–A Kenton man was arrested Monday on drug charges in a church parking lot in Gibson County by undercover agents with the 28th Drug Task Force.
Zachary Thomas Earls of Moore Loop in Kenton is being held on $150,000 bond at the Gibson Co. Sheriff’s Office. He was on parole for multiple other charges when arrested.
Earls delivered 3.5 grams of meth-ice on a four-wheeler to undercover agents who were waiting at China Grove Baptist Church parking lot in Kenton. Earls then attempted unsuccessfully to flee.
Agents then were able to recover an additional 11.2 grams from his residence for a total exceeding 1/2 ounce.
