Fine Arts League To Host Tribute To Late Ken Alexander Sunday

Paris, Tenn.–The Tennessee River Fine Arts League is presenting a “Tribute to Ken Alexander One-man Art Show” from 2-4 p.m. Sunday afternoon, June 23, at the Lee Academy for the Arts.
A charter member of the Tennessee River Fine Arts League, Alexander passed away in November of 2018. He was born in Sunderland, England, in 1930, and was hired as Krider Performing Arts Center (KPAC) manager in 1999.
After his retirement from KPAC, Alexander became a proficient and prolific painter and was active in painting classes and events at the Lee Academy for the Arts in Paris, along with the annual Arts ‘Round The Square in Paris.
On Sunday, a reception with light refreshments will be provided and all are welcomed to attend as everyone celebrates the life and work of this much beloved Paris artist and icon. The display will hang for one month following the reception with many works for sale.
