McKenzie, Tenn.—McKenzie Medical Center has announced it is now a provider for TriWest’s Urgent Care services for veterans.
According to a press release, the center can see Veterans’ Administration patients for minor injury or illness such as strep, flu, wheezing, sprains, sore throats, etc. with no authorization.
Medical Center officials said, “We appreciate our veterans and the sacrifices they have made for our country and are very happy to be able to provide them with this service.”
McKenzie Medical Center is located at 205 Hospital Drive in McKenzie. Earlier this year, the center opened another clinic at Bethel University providing urgent care visits to students and faculty.
McKenzie Medical Center has extended its Urgent Care hours which is now open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays 1-6 p.m.
