Henry Man Arrested On Assault, Vandalism Charges

Henry, Tenn.–A Henry man is being held on $10,000 bond after an alleged assault with a baseball bat early Saturday morning.
Evan Gene Owen, age 26, of 39 Mockingbird Ave., was arrested by Henry County Sheriff’s Cpl. Stacey Bostwick after the incident around 1 a.m. and charged with domestic assault, aggravated assault and vandalism.
The report indicates the incident began when Owen was arguing with a female, hit her with a ball bat and smashing out the windshield of her car as she tried to get away.
He will appear on General Sessions Court Tuesday.
