Sunday Search Yields Four Arrests, One Still Sought; Baby Fawn Found In Cage

Mayfield, Ky.–On Father’s Day morning, Graves Co. Deputy Steve Halsell went to 108 Norsworthy Lane to serve a warrant on an individual. Four people were arrested on numerous charges, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of meth and hydrocodone. A fifth suspect, Christopher Ivie, age 41 from Union City is still being sought on child abuse warrants as well as possession of meth and fleeing and evading. Deputies said they believe he is making his way back to Union City.
Also located in the mobile home in a dog crate was a month-old fawn with a dog collar on it. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife were contacted and an officer responded and charged both two of the people with Illegal Possession of a white tail deer without a permit.
Upon his arrival at the resident, Deputy Halsell was met by an unknown white male. He presented the name of Keith Duncan. When the deputy ask for his ID he went inside a motor home on the property and would not come back out.
Savannah Isbell, age 24 of Mayfield, had just exited the motor home just prior to the unknown male going inside. According to the press release, Isbell was very reluctant in giving information on the person inside. After Deputy John Cavin arrived it was determined the person had exited through a window in the rear of the unit.
While speaking with the property owners that lived in a mobile home at the same address, it was determined that the person that fled was Christopher Ivie, age 41 of Union City. He currently has warrants in Tennessee for Child Abuse and Neglect. He is a white male, slim build, wearing black pants and last seen not wearing a shirt. He was observed a short time later on Walker Road but ran from officers again and was not apprehended.
A search warrant was obtained and executed on the property during the search a firearm, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Hydrocodone and numerous items of drug paraphernalia was located in both the motor home and mobile home. The property owners are Keith Duncan,age 53, and Jerri Turner age 36, both of Sedalia.

Citizens living in South Graves county are asked to call in if Ivie is spotted walking. Deputies said, “We believe he will be trying to make his way back to Union City.”
