Shepherd's Table Invites Everyone For Food, Fellowship

Huntingdon, Tenn.–You can share a meal with the volunteers The Shepherd’s Table at the First Presbyterian Church of Huntingdon on Tuesday evening.  Everyone is invited. The Community Kitchen was created for those who want to fellowship with others, as well as those who are in need.
They will be hosting their next supper on Tuesday, June 18th,  in the Fellowship Hall located at 19835 E. Main Street, in Huntingdon. Dining will begin promptly at 5 pm and the kitchen will remain open until 6:45 pm. Anyone hungry or seeking fellowship for supper is invited.
Organizer Mary Lodge of Paris said, “Attending The Shepherd’s Table is like visiting your favorite casual restaurant in town. You are greeted at the door by a host and seated at a table. A server will bring you a drink and take your order. Your food is served to you hot and fresh from the kitchen. There is also a crew of volunteers to help with clean up when you are finished.”
This month’s menu will feature smoked pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes. The delicious homemade desserts vary from month to month. Each meal is served with iced tea, lemon-aide or water.
The Shepherd’s Table has been able to feed up to 80 guests with the benefit of donations of both money and food.  Each meal costs approximately $100. If you would like to sponsor a meal or give a donation of any amount please contact The Shepherd’s Table by calling The First Presbyterian Church of Huntingdon at (731) 986-5642. If no answer, please leave a message, someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Or please feel free to attend one of our suppers.
The Shepherd’s Table will have supper every third Tuesday of the month. The following supper has been planned for July 16th,  at the First Presbyterian Church Of Huntingdon.
