Martin, Tenn.–Spoiler alert: If you haven’t watched today’s episode of Jeopardy!, read no further.
Our local area has another Jeopardy! winner in Martin Westview High School Teacher Martin Kane. Kane beat returning champ Brendan Roach by $1, winning $35,601 in his first appearance on the show.
It came right down to the wire, with both Roach and Kane knowing the last line of the play “Death Of A Salesman”. Roach wagered $17,000, but Kane–who was ahead for much of the game–wagered $17,001.
Westview High School teachers held watch parties today to see their colleague compete.
Lauren McLean of Paris was a two-day Jeopardy! winner in February of 2018.
