Union City, Tenn.–An Obion County teenager has been indicted on charges of attempted second degree murder involving a shooting in Union City May 16.
Jarmarland Marsh of Trenton also was indicted on a charge of intentional causing reasonable fear following an incident during an earlier hearing in Obion County Juvenile Court.
The attempted second degree murder charge involves the shooting of Cleven Westbrook on a porch at 1423 East Church St. Westbook was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Union City Police said at the time that Westbrook had been shot in the left side of the torso.
On the indictment for causing reasonable fear, Marsh originally had been arrested on a charge of aggravated assault on Juvenile Judge Sam Nailing during a juvenile court proceeding May 10.
