Murray, Ky.–One person was shot and Murray Police are still looking for a suspect following an incident Monday.
Murray Police Officers responded to the parking lot of 1700 Lowes Drive regarding a report of possible shots fired in the area.
Murray Police Sgt. Brant Shutt said, “At this time we can confirm there was an incident that led to shots fired with one victim being treated for injuries. The victim had left the scene prior to officer’s arrival and went to the Murray Calloway County emergency room on their own.”
Witnesses in the area were not able to provide a description of the suspect other than the person fled in a white sedan.
The Murray Police Department would like to advise the public that this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public at large.
No other information is available at this time and an investigation is ongoing.
