Calloway Co. Collision Injures Drivers & Passenger From Murray, Paris

Murray, Ky. –A Murray driver was airlifted and a Paris driver and young passenger were also injured after a two-vehicle collision Monday in Calloway County.
Preliminary investigation by the Kentucky State Police shows Walter C. Stalls, age 70 of Murray, driving a Ford pick-up truck, traveling north on Radio Road.  Tabitha D. Ibarra, age 34, of Paris, was driving a GMC SUV east on Roosevelt Road.  Ibarra had just stopped at the intersection and started to cross Radio Road when she was struck in the passenger side of her vehicle, by Stalls.
Ibarra, and her passenger, Luna Ibarra, age 6, of Paris, were transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital for their injuries. The Ibarra’s were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision. Stalls was transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital, and later airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, for his injuries.  Stalls was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
The accident happened around 1 p.m.
KSP Collision Re-Constructionist Detective Michael Robichaud and Trooper Aaron Jestes are continuing their investigation.  KSP was assisted on the scene by the Murray –Calloway Co.
