Buchanan, Tenn.–There will be a lot more boats –and boaters–on Kentucky Lake this weekend as the 20th Annual Triton Boat Owners Tournament got underway early this morning at Paris Landing State Park. A total of 313 boats are registered for the tournament, which means 626 boaters and their families will be in our area over the weekend.
The Henry County Tourism Authority and White River Marine Group (owners of Triton Boats) have agreed to a new three-year deal in which Paris Landing State Park will host the event for the next three years starting in 2020.
Weigh-ins for this year’s tournament will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Friday) and 2 p.m. Saturday. The scales will be open at 1 p.m. both days. The weigh-ins will be held at the tournament site near the Paris Landing Marina.
