Paris, Tenn.–Beginning in June, the Henry County Veterans’ Service Office will be offering van rides every other month to tour the Tennessee State Veterans’ Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads in Wildersville. There is no charge to ride the van.
The first trip is scheduled for 8 a.m. June 14 and will leave from the parking lot behind Wimberley Insurance Agency on N. Market Street. Since seating on the van is limited, please call 731 642 5055 to reserve a seat.
Guided tours will be provided by the staff at Parkers Crossroads and they will also be available to answer any questions about interment, etc. Those who may have interest in pre-registering for arrangements while there will need discharge papers (DD 214 or WD AGO) and a copy of their marriage certificate.
