Henry Co. EMS Director Appointed To State Emergency Services Board

Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center’s EMS Director Twila Rose has been appointed to the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Board, serving as an Ambulance Service Operator representative.  Her term runs until June 30, 2022.
Rose said her main objective while serving on the board is to protect the health of the citizens of the State of Tennessee through regulation of the healthcare workforce, enforcement of the practice laws and ensuring adequate levels of professional competence and standards of practice.
Rose began her career at EMS 28 years ago, starting as a dispatcher and working her way up, serving as an EMT, paramedic, supervisor, assistant director and now director.  Rose graduated from UT with an accounting degree.  She is married to Ray Rose and has a four-legged male child named Dixie.  She and her husband live at the lake in a family community where she enjoys lake activities and gardening.
“The appointment to this board is such an honor,” Rose said.  “I look forward to serving the State of Tennessee and making an impact on emergency services.”
