Sedalia, Ky. – A Mayfield man was killed in a single-vehicle collision Tuesday night in Graves County.
The Kentucky State Police Post received the call of a collision near Sedalia, at approximately 7:55 p.m.
Preliminary investigation shows James R. Adkins, age 23 of Mayfield,was traveling west on KY 339 E operating a 1991 Honda Accord. For an unknown reason, Adkins ran off the roadway and his vehicle overturned. Adkins was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Graves County Coroner.
KSP Trooper Justin Rundles is continuing his investigation. KSP was assisted on the scene by Mayfield EMS, Graves County Coroner, Graves County Sheriff’s Office and the Sedalia Volunteer Fire Department.
