Paris, Tenn.–Details on Monday’s crash in which an SUV drove through the side of Ivey’s Mini-Storage facility at 8035 Hwy. 79N have been released by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. John Fox, age 72, Cordova, was not injured when his 2015 Audi SUV drove through the side of the building. According to the report, Fox was traveling south on Hwy. 79 when his vehicle left the shoulder of the roadway, struck 12 mailboxes and continued across a roadside ditch, striking a chain link fence around the storage unit. He then struck the building with the car coming to a final rest inside the building. The crash also damaged a pontoon boat stored inside the building. The SUV was totaled.
