Gleason, Tenn.—A one-vehicle accident Saturday morning claimed the life of an 11-year-old girl and injured three others on Old State Highway 22 in Gleason.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, Carlie Burton of Gleason was killed in the accident. The accident occurred when driver Kammy Hugueley of Gleason drove off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and drove into a tree. She was driving a GMC SUV.
Hugueley was injured along with two other children in the vehicle. Their ages are listed as nine and three. The report does not indicate the extent of their injuries.
