MARTIN, Tenn. – Delaney Grinder (left), of Union City, visited the University of Tennessee at Martin on May 21 to participate in one of the first Summer Orientation and Registration sessions of the year. She is a graduate of Union City High School and is pictured with her mother, Joanie Grinder. During SOAR, students are able to register for fall semester courses, meet with faculty members in their chosen fields of study, and find out more about housing, meal plans, academic success, student life and other areas of the UT Martin campus community. Future SOAR sessions for accepted students are scheduled for June 7 and 21 and July 12 and 22. SOAR is required for all incoming freshmen.
