Paris, Tenn.–A large crowd was on hand for Tuesday’s Scam Seminar sponsored by the Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office, Henry County UT Extension, U.S. Secret Service and the Paris McDonald’s restaurant. Organizers had originally planned for under 100 to attend, but when all was said and done, some 150 had arrived to hear the information provided by deputies and two Secret Service agents from the Memphis Field Office who updated the audience on new scams and tacts, including all the various phone call scams and card skimmers at gas stations.
