Paris, Tenn.–Henry County High School baseball coach Benji Bona submitted his resignation yesterday and school officials said they will be posting the position in the coming days.
Athletic Director Mike Poteete told WENK/WTPR Wednesday morning that Bona resigned for personal reasons and said the baseball team had a great season. “We finished 22-10 and we had a great coaching staff, great kids, great season.”
Bona was not available for comment this morning.
Poteete said the position will be posted on the high school website and officials will begin taking applications and doing interviews for a new coach.
