Mayfield, Ky.–A suspicious vehicle in a field in Graves Co. on Monday led to arrests of three people on multiple charges.
Sheriff Jon Hayden observed a vehicle pulled off into a field just off of Rudy Road near the Johnnie Road intersection around 9 a.m. Monday.
He said the occupants were acting nervous and a rear seat passenger began giving conflicting information as to his identity. After positively identifying the man as Johnathon Jackson, age 42, of Mayfield, he was found to be wanted on numerous felony cases out of Graves County Circuit Court including; an indictment warrant charging him with felony flagrant non-support, 1st degree bail jumping, failure to appear for a pre-trial conference on a previous meth possession charge, and a probation violation warrant.
The other two persons arrested were Linzey Banks, age 20 of Murray and Daniel Chambers, age 21, of Mayfield. Both were arrested on drug charges.
According to the sheriff, many of the used syringes found in the vehicle contained human blood which made the recovery and search very hazardous for the sheriff and deputies.
Deputies Dale Mason and Chandler Sirls arrived to assist. According to Sheriff Hayden, a large amount of methamphetamine related drug paraphernalia, and quantities of crystal meth was found in various locations throughout the vehicle.
Numerous methamphetamine loaded syringes were recovered, two sets of electronic scales containing meth residue. Meth smoking pipes, butane, and other items.

All suspects were then transported to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and lodged at the Graves County Jail.
