KSP Inmate Death Investigation Leads To Four Indictments, Including Former Officer

Mayfield, Ky. –Four indictments were issued by the Fulton County Grand Jury–one against a former corrections officer and three against former inmates–following an investigation into the death of Fulton County inmate Kyle Combs, age 28, who overdosed on October 26, 2016.  The investigation was conducted by the Kentucky State Police and was recently presented to a Fulton County Grand Jury.
 
Daniel J. Thomas, 35 of Fulton, KY, a former corrections officer at the jail was indicted and charged with Wanton Endangerment 1^st degree, on May 13, 2019.
 
Danny B. Wilder Jr, 35 of Marion, KY, a former inmate, was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1^st degree, 2^nd offense, Promoting Contraband 1^st degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance 1^st degree, 1^st offense methamphetamine, and Persistent Felony Offender.  Wilder’s warrant has not been served as of May 17, 2019.
 
Steven Juniper, 28 of Sandy Hook, KY, a former inmate, was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1^st degree, 2^nd offense, Promoting Contraband 1^st degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance 1^st degree, 1^st offense methamphetamine, and Persistent Felony Offender.  Juniper’s warrant has not been served as of May 17, 2019.
 
Ronnie C. J. Littlejohn, 29 of Cincinnati, OH, a former inmate, was indicted for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1^st degree, 2^nd offense, Promoting Contraband 1^st degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance 1^st degree, 1^st offense methamphetamine, and Persistent Felony Offender.  Littlejohn’s warrant has not been served as of May 17, 2019.
