Paris and Union City, Tenn.–Both the Henry County Schools board of education and the Obion County Schools board will be holding special meetings this week, both of which are to address contracts for Dr. Leah Watkins.
The Henry County board will be meeting at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, to approve the contract for incoming Director of Schools Dr. Watkins. The meeting will be held at the board room in Grove Tower.
Meanwhile, the Obion Co. board will hold its special meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, to accept the resignation of Dr. Watkins as Obion County Director of Schools and to approve criteria for a new Director search.
The meeting will be held in the Obion County Central High School Library. The board asks that people park in the pick-up area behind the school.
