Paris, Tenn.–An inmate of the Henry Co. Jail was arrested after an assault inside the jail Tuesday.
Michael W. Allred, age 25, of Jones Bend Road, Paris, was charged with aggravated assault after a fight at the jail. According to the report, Allred reportedly struck another inmate in the face and the other inmate was taken to the emergency room at Henry Co. Medical Center.
Allred was already in jail on a probation violation charge. He will appear in court on the new charge on Tuesday.
