Paris, Tenn.–The city of Paris’ public works department has been busy for the past several days working on the parking areas at Eiffel Tower Park. They have paved and resurfaced the back parking lot and are removing the center island between the swimming pool and tennis courts.
City officials said with the city’s Master Park Plan there will be a need for additional parking with the proposed splash pad construction beginning in late summer or early fall. The splash pad will be constructed with additional parking on the west side of the swimming pool between the pool and the walking track.
