Martin, Tenn.—Arrests were made involving separate incidents over the weekend at the same bar in Martin and one suspect is still at large.
Martin Police are seeking Brandon Henry, age 39, on charges of theft from the Slide-n-Ride Saloon at 627 N. Lindell Street. Police responded to a call at the saloon at 7:42 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
The owner/operator of the bar reported to Ptl. Vaughn that several items were discovered missing from the location when he arrived at work. The items included bottles of liquor, a safe containing cash, several electronic items and an undetermined number of alcoholic beverages from the coolers. Several items were missing from the deejay booth as well. Other items were damaged inside of the business during the incident.
During an investigation of the incident, Brandon Henry was identified as the person responsible for the theft through video footage. Henry was located and admitted to being responsible for the incident and was taken into custody. While he was retrieving items for investigators, he ran away from officers and remains at large. Warrants for Henry have been issued for burglary, theft of property, vandalism and escape. In the second incident, Ptl. Sarah Rogers of Martin Police responded to the Slide-n-Ride around 1:40 a.m. Saturday on a report of a robbery. The victim told her when he arrived at the business, he was approached by a white male wearing a camouflage bandana and a black male wearing a red and white shirt.
The victim said they attacked him and took cash from his wallet and fled on foot. Witnesses said Keywon Graves, age 18, of Martin was the black male attacker. Later in the morning, subjects were located at the Eagle Inn matching the description of the two attackers. Graves was one of the subjects and the other was a white male, Samuel Anderson, age 19, of South Fulton. Both were taken into custody charged with robbery, theft, assault and vandalism. The vandalism involves damage to a vehicle in the parking lot.
