Union City, Tenn.–Congressman David Kustoff, R-8th District, made a whirlwind tour of Union City Friday, speaking to the Rotary Club and visiting Discovery Park of America and the Obion County Sheriff’s Office.
Kustoff said he spoke with the Rotary Club “about our booming economy, my time traveling West Tennessee, and upcoming legislation expected in Congress”. At the sheriff’s office, he met with Sheriff Karl Jackson and Obion County Mayor Benny McGuire, speaking about initiatives to fight crime locally. At Discovery Park, he toured the tourist attraction with President Scott Williams who told him about the huge impact Discovery Park has had on tourism in west Tennessee.
