Paris, Tenn.—The city of Paris issued 13 business licenses in March and the city’s retail sales pushed ahead of February, according to City Finance Director Traci Shannon.
They are:
New Business: Bells Boutiques, Personal Touch Lawn Care, Zanny Bo’s Collections, PBJ Boutique, Coles’ Drywall, To A T, Oh My Goddess
Name Change: Market Street Boutiques/Merle Norman Cosmetic
Add’l Location: Rose Construction Inc.
New Owner: Clean Air Solution, Terrace Woods Lodge
License Type Change: Car Trends
Minimal License Renewal: Everyone’s Attic
Retail Sales for the month of February pushed ahead of last February by 1.01%. Fiscal year-to-date the city is still slightly running behind by .65%.
General Fund revenues are still ahead fiscal year to date. However, expenditures did exceed revenues in the month of March. The month of March was one of thethree pay period months for payroll which comes along twice a year. The city also made several of our donations to non-profit organizations.
