Paris, Tenn.–The local Knights of Columbus chapter will be working along with PLUS Endowment board members starting Friday on its annual Tootsie Roll drive.
The K of C and PLUS Endowment board members will be asking for donations (in exchange for Tootsie rolls!) as customers leave Kroger, Lakeway IGA and Walmart Friday and Saturday.
The K of C donated $5,000 to PLUS Endowment last year and this year’s Tootsie Roll drive will benefit the PLUS programs. PLUS Endowment grants are awarded for innovative and educational projects in the Henry Co. Schools and Paris Special Schools District that would not otherwise be available in the classrooms.
