Mayfield Pair Arrested By KSP On Drugs, Weapons Charges

Mayfield, KY.–A Mayfield pair was arrested Monday by Kentucky State Police on numerous drug and weapons charges.
Trooper Justin Fox and Trooper Mike Ray were on routine patrol on KY 121 north approximately 5 miles north of Mayfield when they observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed at approximately 11:33 a.m.
Trooper Fox conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and the driver admitted to having drug paraphernalia.  Trooper Fox searched the vehicle and found a small smoking pipe used for smoking drugs, a substance believed to be Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and a concealed handgun.
The driver, Christian M. Kaler, age 18 of Mayfield, was arrested and charged with Speeding 19 mph over the limit, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon,
The passenger, Dylan T. Wiggins, 19 of Mayfield, was arrested and charged with Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon.   Kaler and Wiggins were both lodged in the Graves County Jail.
