PARIS – The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s mobile American Job Center (MAJC) will be located at Bethel University Wednesday, May 1, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Job Center staff will be on-site helping job seekers complete online applications, resumes, and to register or update their information on www.Jobs4TN.gov, Tennessee’s online workforce development website that has more than 150,000 current job openings. The mobile job center offers nearly all the services of a full-service center, at locations that are easy for job seekers to access.
This event is free and open to anyone looking for employment, who may be underemployed, or who is interested in changing careers.
The mobile American Job Center is Tennessee’s one-stop career station, conveniently delivering workforce services across the state. The resource extends the State Labor Office’s reach into communities that do not have access to an American Job Center and brings helpful services to events in the state’s larger cities. The mobile American Job Center is one way Tennessee is working to create the nation’s No. 1 workforce by assisting both job seekers and employers.
