McKenzie High School Band Wins Sweepstakes Trophy

Paris, Tenn.–The McKenzie High School Band was the Sweepstakes Winner at the marching band competition at the World’s Biggest Fish Fry grand parade today as well as winning in the Best Drum Major and Best Color Guard categories.
Michael Holden said all competitors were in the Senior Division, with McKenzie’s band receiving first place in the red class; Stewart County High School winning first place in the white class and Marshall County High School from Benton, Ky., winning first place in the blue class.
Seven bands altogether marched in Friday’s Grand Parade, with Marshall County High School making its first appearance in the parade.
The Henry Co. High School and All-Henry County Bands could not compete because they were the host bands.
