Murray High School Coach Arrested

 
Murray, Ky.–A Murray High School teacher has been charged with three counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and four counts of voyeurism after Murray Police say he set up a device to record people changing in a school bathroom.
Mark Boggess, age 53, is a teacher and track coach at Murray High School.
According to the press release issued Thursday evening by Murray Police, on April 25th at approximately 12:40 pm, the Murray Police Department was contacted by staff at Murray High School regarding suspected criminal activity by a teacher.
Staff at the school located a device that was able to record video and was set up in a manner to video individuals while they were changing in the bathroom of the nurse’s station. The suspect was able to be identified from the video as he was setting it in place.
Investigators from the Murray Police Department detained Boggess for questioning. With the information obtained from the staff at Murray High School along with information obtained from the interview, Boggess was taken into custody.
Boggess was charged with the following: 3 counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and also 4 counts of voyeurism.
The case is still open and the investigation is ongoing.
