Paris, Tenn.–For the second year in a row, the crew at Derksen Builders won the World’s Biggest Fish Fry bed races Saturday morning. The weather was cool and windy, but there still was a crowd on hand to cheer on their teams. Second place were the Paris-Henry County Jaycees. Other teams were the Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office with Sheriff Monte Belew and members of the work release program and A Place Called Home. Today’s kick-off events included the 5K Hushpuppy Dash in the morning and the Demolition Derby in the evening.
