Union City, Tenn.–At this year’s Union City High School basketball banquet, Head coach Shane Sisco generously handed out words of praise for a team that counted a win over eventual Class 1A state champion Columbia Academy among its 24 victories this past season.
UC reached the 20-win mark for the eighth straight year in 2018-19.
Among those receiving individual awards were:
Tyler Walton, most rebounds, most steals, most 3-pointers made, most deflections and member of the 1,000-point club; Ben McMillan, top scorer and best 3-point percentage; Jaxon Moran, Senior Award; Taylon Tribble, most charges taken; Neil Brown, best 2-point percentage; Nick Sanders, most improved; and a Kaler Bobo, best free throw percentage and most assists.
