Fish Fry Bed Races, Hushpuppy Dash, Demolition Derby Are Saturday

Paris, Tenn.–Oh yes, it’s that time already. The 66th annual World’s Biggest Fish Fry begins this weekend with the 5K Hushpuppy Dash, Bed Races and Demolition Derby.
Cathey Williams of the Paris-Henry Co. Jaycees said they already have even more teams signed up for the Bed Races than were involved last year. The event is held at noon on the street in front of the First United Methodist Church in downtown Paris. Registration is at 11 a.m., with judging at 11:30 a.m. Entry fee is $75 per team (pre-register for $50).
The 5K Hushpuppy Dash is at 8 a.m. at the Henry County High School, with registration at 7 a.m. Entry fee $20 (pre-register for $15).
Demolition Derby begins at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Fairgrounds. Entry fee is $40. Admission is $10, with children 6-10 $5 and kids under five get in free.
