Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Quota Club welcomed a new member, Cassandra Perry at its meeting this week at the Lee Academy Lunchroom. Perry was sponsored by Gina Olds.
Suzanne Richter reported that she has received approximately 20 scholarship applications and the committee will begin working on their selections soon.
Olds reported that the Ladies Night Out will host the movie “Breakthrough” at The Parisian Theatre on April 30th. The theatre will open at 5:15 and the movie will begin at 6pm. Tickets are $10 and are available from any Quotarian. The ticket includes dinner and the movie.
The annual Easter Bake Sale will be April 20th at the Mineral Wells Branch of Commercial Bank from 8am until noon.
Derby Day will be at the club’s regular business meeting on May 8th. Members are urged to wear their finest Derby hat, as there will be prizes for the most original, prettiest and others.
