Paris, Tenn.–Henry County High School will launch the celebration of its 50th Year with a marching entry in the “World’s Biggest Fish Fry” Grand Parade on Friday, April 26th.
Alumni, as well as current students, faculty, and staff of HCHS are invited to walk in the parade carrying a banner and balloons, including large “1969” and “2019” balloons and 50 smaller balloons.
“We need as many students and former graduates of HCHS as we can to participate,” said David Webb, HCHS teacher and member of its 50th anniversary committee. The school first opened in the fall of 1969, and it will celebrate its 50th anniversary September 27th-29th with the annual homecoming football game, an alumni gala with dinner and dancing, an open house, a historical exhibit, and a time capsule burial.
