UC Tennis Teams Sweep Crockett County

By  Mike Hutchens, UC Schools Communications Director

Union City, Tenn.–Union City’s Middle School tennis teams were impressive in sweeping visiting Crockett County on Monday, the Lady Tornadoes recording an 8-0 shutout and the UC boys winning 5-2.

Union City’s girls were barely tested in the five singles matches – even without top seeds Shelby Bondurant and Molly Kizer, neither of whom played.

The Twister boys won four of their five singles matches.

The UCHS tennis teams split a pair of matches at Henry County, the girls winning 5-2 and the boys swept 7-0.

UC’s prep softball team was on the wrong end of a 10-4 score at Obion Central.
