Paris, Tenn.—A Paris woman reportedly scared away intruders who were trying to break into her home late Monday night when she fired a shotgun at them.
Henry County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home on Reynoldsburg Road around 11:30 p.m. by the resident, who told deputies at least four men were on her property, asking for a person named Troy.
The men then tried to get into the house by reaching through the door to unlock the deadbolt. The woman said she fired a shot with her shotgun through the door at the men.
The intruders were not on the scene when deputies arrived. According to the report, they found no blood that would indicate any of them had been hit by the gunshot.
