Murray, Ky.–A Murray man was arrested on a long list of charges–including trafficking–following an early morning traffic stop.
Robert Harris, age 48, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense; drug trafficking; possession of meth; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; no registration, and no insurance.
On Thursday at approximately 12:36 am Officer Baldwin conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of South 15th and Poplar Streets. Upon speaking with the driver, Officer Baldwin determined him to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Harris was placed under arrest for DUI and a search of Harris’s person revealed approximately 1.3 grams of Marijuana, approximately 3 grams of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and other items consistent with drug trafficking. More drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle.
