Upcoming Battle Of Badges: Losing Department To Shave Their Legs

Paris, Tenn.–The Battle of the Badges coming up at the LIFELINE Blood Drive the first week of April will be interesting, to say the least. Participating law enforcement agencies include the Paris Police, Henry County Sheriff’s Office and the Paris Fire Department and the losing department has to shave their legs.
Other bets in the past have included losing departments receiving a pie in the face and having to wash the car of the winning departments. The pie in the face was especially memorable as Fire Chief Michael Williams smashed pies into the faces of Sheriff Monte Belew and Police Chief Chuck Elizondo at City Hall.
The Battle of the Badges will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday April 4.
Other Henry Co. April Blood Drives are:
Tues., April 16, Lakewood Elem. School, Buchanan, 2-6 p.m.
Fri., April 19, Lowes Paris, 2-6 p.m.
