Texas Troubadour Robert Earl Keen To Perform At The Dixie

Huntingdon, Tenn.–Texas troubadour Robert Earl Keen will strum his way into the hearts of West Tennessee music
lovers at a special pop-up show at The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center in Huntingdon,  on Friday night, March 29th.
A living legend on the Texas music scene, Keen has long been regarded as one of the Lone
Star State’s finest true singer-songwriters. His career as a balladeer spans 3 decades, 19
albums and thousands of shows. He is a member of the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and The
Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Keen also has real chops in the Americana music world. Considered a true pioneer of the
genre, Robert Earl Keen finds himself in company with the likes of Jason Isbell, Paul Thorne
and Brandi Carlisle just to name a few.
In addition to becoming a
veritable Texas household name, his songs have been recorded by big names like George
Strait, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, his buddy Lyle Lovett, Montgomery Gentry, Dixie Chicks and
The Highwaymen. Keen has also worked with music legends Dave Matthews, Bonnie Raitt,
Sheryl Crow, Eric Church, and Guy Clark, Jr.
This Dixie appearance is an add-on to Keen’s Spring tour which includes the Houston Rodeo &
Livestock Show, Carnegie Hall, Ram’s Stage, The National Theatre and others. Join Robert Earl
