Union City, Tenn.—Union City Firefighters have been busy, responding to two house fires in one day Saturday. The second fire was on Shady Grove Road Saturday evening, with a dwelling heavily damaged. No one was hurt and the pets also are o.k. and firefighters were able to save as much as they could. South Fulton Fire and Rives Fire Departments provided mutual aid. As WENK/WTPR reported earlier, a family dwelling was destroyed at 2438 Latimer Rd. around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Again no one was hurt. Providing mutual aid was the Troy and Rives Fire Departments.
