Home Destroyed, No One Injured In Union City Fire

Union City, Tenn.—A family dwelling was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning in rural Union City.
Union City Firefighters were called to 2438 Latimer Rd. around 1:30 a.m. and found the home fully involved. The Troy and Rives Fire Departments provided mutual assistance.
Union City Fire Captain Karl Ullrich said no one was hurt in the blaze and firefighters were able to salvage some personal items for residents.
Firefighters stayed on the scene until 5:19 a.m., he said.
Troy Captain Brandon Baldwin said the Troy department helped with manpower and water shuttling operations and said there was great teamwork by all agencies.
