Big Sandy, Tenn.–A suspect has been arrested and charged with second degree murder in the homicide of a man in Big Sandy.
Jack Anthony Herron, age 34, of Henry County, is being held in the Benton Co. Jail on $500,000 bond.
Benton Co. Sheriff Kenny Christopher said Herron was arrested for the death of  Garren D. Crafton, age 36, also of Henry County.
Christopher said deputies were called to Kay Street in Big Sandy this morning and found Crafton dead. He said neither Herron nor Crafton live at that address.
He said Crafton’s body has been sent to Nashville for autopsy but that it appears that the victim had been stabbed.
The TBI, the Benton Co. Sheriff’s Office and the Big Sandy Police are working jointly on the investigation, Christopher said.
