Hickman County, Ky.–Former Hickman County Sheriff Mark Green was indicted on one count of abuse of public trust by the Hickman County Grand Jury Thursday.
Mark Green, age 50, of Mayfield, will be arraigned April 4.
Kentucky State Police Detective Michael Robichaud presented the case to the grand jury. Abuse of Public Trust is a Class D felony.
According to a press release issued by the Kentucky State police, the charges stem from an investigation into missing funds from an account Green had access to while sheriff.
Green did not run for re-election in 2018.
