Police Dog Training School To Host Public Demo This Week

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Paris Police Department, is hosting a North American Police Work Dog Association K-9 training school this week. Several K-9s from multiple agencies across the southern United States will be participating in the training at the fairgrounds in Henry County. In addition they will be hosting an open to the public K-9 demo from 5-6 p.m. Thursday March 21st at the Henry County Fairgrounds Livestock Building. Sheriff Monte Belew stated that this event is free of charge and is a great chance for the community to see the different dogs who will cover everything from patrol to drugs to tracking and to see what a great asset they are to the various agencies.
